The small hotel resort is located near Boracay’s Boat Station 1 in the northern area of the island. It would only take a few minutes of walk from Punta Rosa before you reach the busy joints and activity sites.

The story behind the development of Punta Rosa Resort is interesting. Originally, the resort was constructed to become a private home for family gatherings and vacations. The owner is a property businessman who kept the construction and development of the place secret from his family within six months. The resort center was a surprising gift he hade for his family. More surprising is how it evolved into one of the sought-after hotel resorts in the tourist island.

Punta Rosa rooms are simple but elegant, with a touch of local inspiration. Ranging from bamboo, sawali, and molave wood to bush hammered marble floors, most of the beds actually face the sea. Several ceilings are lined with tick paw (half inch bamboo) to complement the woven nipa carpets and some Japanese designed beds. All rooms have large, colorful and comfortable pillows perfect for those lazy afternoons.

How To Get To Boracay:

VIA CATICLAN: Asian Spirit, SEAIR and Corporate Air Airlines fly from the Manila Domestic Airport to Caticlan Airport on Panay Island. Depending on the type of aircraft, flight times may vary from 55 minutes to 1 hour and SEAIR Boracay Flights are just 35 minutes. From the airport in Caticlan to the Jetty Port is just a 5-minute tricycle ride away. Then, a motorized banca (boat) will take guests on a leisurely 20-minute ride to Boracay Island Philippines.

VIA KALIBO: Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines fly from the Manila Domestic Airport to Kalibo Airport in 55 minutes. From there, guests take a 1 hour and 30 minute ride in an air-conditioned shuttle bus to the Caticlan Jetty Port. Then transfer to a motorized banca (boat) for a leisurely 20-minute ride to Boracay Philippines.
