They can be divided into two basic areas, the beaches on the eastern shore and the western side which is the popular tourist side of Boracay island, here you will find "Boracay Beach" and where the majority of Boracay accommodations, beach resorts, island hotels, restaurants bars & clubs, as-well as popular Boracay activities like beach volleyball, beach football. The western side of Boracay is sheltered from the eastern winds and therefore making Boracay Beach the ideal beach for lazing around enjoying the sun.

The eastern side of Boracay, Bulobog is the most popular area for Boracay Windsurfing and Kite Boarding enthusiasts. Each year since 2005 Boracay host the International Dragon Boat Competition in partnership with Department of Tourism and the Boracay Business Association.

Boracay White Beach being on the western side of Boracay Island also offers and additional feature for the romantic's the impeccable Boracay sunsets. There is nothing more romantic than sitting on Boracay Beach by a campfire, sharing drinks and conversation with your love, Boracay warms your heart.

Diniwid Beach on the north end of Boracay White Beach offers excellent Boracay Resorts providing quite and seclusion from the frenzy of the main Boracay Beach.

Puka Shell Beach is the second largest beach on Boracay Island and is also known as Yapak Beach. The beach is called Puka Shell Beach because of the white Puka Shells that were found and collected here and used as jewelry in the 70’s and 80’s, made famous by Elizabeth Taylor.

Bunyagan Beach is located to the north of White Beach, near the village of Punta Bunga. This beach is nice and out of the way, ideal for a romantic picnic where you can isolate yourself amongst the numerous coconut palms.

Bulabog Beach is on the eastern coastline of Boracay and is renowned for its constant winds which attract windsurfers from around the globe. The wind surfing enthusiast converge here every year to participate in the Boracay International Fun board Cup.

Cagban Beach, which means cave or chest, is a delightfully quiet beach nestled on the southern end of Boracay Island. Cagban Beach is now the arrival and departure jetty port for Boracay.

Manoc Manoc Beach is the beach on the southern end of Boracay Island and is the beach of the village of the same name.

Tambisaan Beach is a small white beach on Boracay offering some dive shops, like Blue Mango Boracay Diving Center.

Balinghai Beach is a small white beach on the north western side of Boracay Island, just around the corner from Diniwid Beach. Balinghai Beach is also where you will find the Balinghai Beach Resort, located in the cliffs just above this private and very nice Boracay Philippines Beach.

Punta Bunga Beach is located on the northern end of Boracay, between Balinghai Beach and Puka Shell Beach. Punta Bunga Beach is a private Boracay Beach for The Club Panoly Boracay Resort.

Ilig-Iligan Beach is on the northeastern coast of Boracay and offers several coves and caves. Inland is an impressive jungle where giant fruit bats may be seen hanging in the trees.

Lapus-Lapus Beach is located on the eastern side of Boracay, this is the private beach for Fairways and Bluewater Boracay Resort and championship Philippines Golf Course.

Tulubhan Beach is located on south eastern coast of Boracay, just near the southern tip of Boracay Island. A small and quiet beach with many coves, old and mighty trees along the shoreline blossom spectacularly in February and March providing welcome shade during those hot months.
